ENIL Freedom Drive 2015 is moving to Brussels

On 29 September, there will be meetings with Members of the European
On 30 September, people with disabilities, their families and friends
will march to the European Parliament to make their voice heard.
On 1 October, ENIL is organizing a conference.

Gathering in Brussels is the perfect opportunity to lobby the European Parliament, the European Commission, the European Council as well as other important European and international organizations on issues of Independent Living. The theme of this year is The Next Independent Living Generation.
Meetings with Members of the European Parliament will take place on 29 September to discuss issues such as deinstitutionalization, personal assistance, inclusive education, employment, portability of independent living services across the European Union (EU) and the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in the EU.
The next day, people with disabilities, their families and friends coming from all over Europe will march to the European Parliament to make their voice heard.
On 1 October, ENIL will organise a conference offering the opportunity to exchange information and discuss advocacy strategies at the local, national and European level.

Registrations are open until 31 August. Registrations forms are available in English, Dutch and French. Please note that there is a specific registration form for those only participating in the march on 30 September.
